The World Bank has released the full details of the loan $156 million loan facility it is granting to the government of Ghana to develop the nation’s educational sector with emphasis on secondary education. Parliament on Wednesday approved the loan for the commencement of work to begin.

Three women have been arrested in Nigeria for recruiting female members for the Islamist militant group, Boko Haram, the country’s military says. The Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors, Senyo Horsi has assured Ghanaians the fuel situation will normalize by the end of July. Indigenous bank, HFC was the best performing stock on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) for the first half of this year. The Ghana Stock Exchange returned about 10 percent from the beginning of the year to midyear.
