A 29 year old man has been arrested by the Customs Division of the Ghana
Revenue Authority for duping 30 people of GhC 3,000 each
 to help them
secure recruitment into the authority.According to Citi News’ reporter Rabiu Alhassan who was at the headquarters of the Customs Division, he reported that the Chief Revenue Officer of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority, Seidu Iddrisu, who addressed the press said Ransford Koranteng (the accused person) is in police custody at the moment for duping more than 30 people of GhC 3,000 each. Mr. Sedidu revealed that Ransford Koranteng was arrested on Friday and is currently helping the customs division in their investigations. According to Mr. Seidu, it is a cabal that operates across the country adding that following his arrest a lot of people have come to the headquarters to identify the accused of taking money from them. He mentioned that "investigations are still going on” to enable the police arrest other people who are involved.
