5:35:46 PM Prof. Mills, Ghana’s Most Underrated President – Cadman Mills
The Late President Prof. John Evans Atta Mills According to him, this phenomenon is due to the fact that the late President was rational, familiar with his merit and demerits and played accordingly. In an interview with Alhassan Suhuyini on the Gold Power Drive Wednesday, Dr. Cadman Mills said the late Professor was a type of leader who believed in structure building. “He was the realistic type of person that played to his strength...realistic in the sense that one person, no matter how brilliant and committed can’t change everything. “He always consulted with people and tried very hard to get as diverse a point of view as possible. Sometimes, it took him time to make decisions”, he pointed out. He reiterated that late Professor Mills relied extensive on the talent of Ghanaians and was always defiant in defence of good decisions he arrived at. “That’s what I think make a good politician... not somebody who is President just because it has always been their lifelong ambition. Prof. Mills was somebody with a purpose, objective and a pregame for Ghana”, he observed. July 24 will mark two years since President Mills died at the 37 Military Hospitals in Accra at 14:15 hours, three days after celebrating his 68th birthday. Family and friends of Prof. Atta Mills will be holding a Remembrance Service at the Asomdwee Park in Accra on Thursday morning. On Sunday at 9:30 am, the Methodist Church of Cape Coast will organise a memorial service for him on the anniversary of his death and the commemoration of his 70th birthday. After which there will be a small reception at the Atta Mills Farms which is just beyond Elmina. The public is cordially invited to both events to celebrate the life and work of the late President John Evans Atta Mills. --------- Source: myradiogoldlive.com
